Neglected...

That's how my blog is feeling...
Been so busy lately with different things going on in my life, not had time to post. It's a good job I have cardmaking to relieve the stress.  Anyway here's a few I've made today. Will try to post some of the others I've been making over next few days.

This was an order for someone. A4 card, not my favourites to make, but seem to be more and more popular by the amount of requests I'm getting. I made a foldback card and added the large topper which was a Crafts u Print download. I love the "dude" characters on this site.

The pink one is for my niece who will be another year older on thursday. I wanted to make her a real girlie card. Top layer of dress was stamped onto acetate and glittered and I made an easel card with glitter and bling...Hope she likes it.....She doesn't follow my blog so it's safe putting it on here.
The next card I've put on 2 different pics because I'm trying to show the spray and sparkle glitter on the acetate domed front. I didn't want it to be a full dome as it can still fit in an oversized C5 envelope but the embossing part has a dome effect vertically. Embossed with cuttlebug leafy branch onto palest pink card, I inked over with different greens which is pale and matted and layered onto differing pastel cards.  Another order out of the way.

HUGE card

A lady we work with is 60 and so this card was made for the whole office to sign. We have a very large office so it had to be a very large card. This is an a1 folded in half so it's HUGE and took some filling I tell you. I bought a pack of them for £5 for 10 cards and envelopes a while back and have never used one so this is a first. She's a shopper and loves shoes, so I gave it a go.

Some more cards

Well, life's been taking over again this past 2 weeks. Not been having a good time of it lately but as the saying goes,  "I'm sure it'll all come out in the wash". Just a few more cards I've made in between work and the family. The black and white one is courtesy of Jak's polka dot flower freebie we had some time ago, I've added a small bow since taking this pic as something was missing in the top left hand corner. I've used this time and time again.  The deco lady in burgundy is another one that I have repeat orders for.
Hope you like!

As the saying goes " If you can't beat them, join them"

So I have....please be gentle with me.......Not a clue what I'm doing really but thought I'd get a blog going so I'd have somewhere to store my cards and have a natter with friends. Hope I'm going to get the time to attend to this blog on a regular basis because time is most precious in my day to day routine.

Anyway, will pop back here as often as I can.
